Solar panel installation requires that you own the property or have the property owner’s written authorization. Meralco net metering registration is tied to the property’s Meralco account. Renters may install solar with the property owner’s consent, though ownership of the system needs to be clarified in the tenancy agreement.

The strongest financial case for residential solar is a monthly Meralco bill of ₱3,000 or above. Lower bills can still benefit from solar, though the payback period extends. Complete Wiring and Electrical Work

DC and AC wiring, disconnect switch, surge protection, and circuit breaker per Philippine Electrical Code, supervised and signed off by a PRC-licensed Professional Electrical Engineer.

LGU Permits and CFEI

Building Permit and Electrical Permit filed with your LGU on your behalf. CFEI coordination included as required for the Meralco net metering application.

Meralco Net Metering Application

Complete application management: Application Form, NMA, COC Fee, DIS follow-up, DIMC fee coordination, and bi-directional meter installation. Net metering is active from energization.

System Commissioning and Handover

Contract and Down Payment

We formalize the project with a contract covering scope, payment schedule, warranties, and timeline. A 30 to 50 percent deposit secures your installation date. Balance due on completion.

Permit Application

SolarPro Install prepares and files the Building Permit and Electrical Permit with your LGU. Processing typically takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on your municipality.

Solar Panel Installation

Our installation crew mounts the panels, installs the inverter, and completes all wiring in 1 to 3 days. Your home continues operating normally during installation.

LGU Inspection and CFEI

Your LGU inspects the completed installation and issues the Certification of Final Electrical Inspection. SolarPro Install coordinates this inspection on your behalf.

Meralco Net Metering Application

We submit all documents to Meralco: Application Form, CFEI, NMA, and COC Application Fee. SolarPro Install follows up throughout Meralco’s Distribution Impact Study and inspection stages.

Bi-Directional Meter and Energization

Meralco installs your bi-directional meter (DIMC fee: max ₱3,000 for residential per ERC Advisory September 22, 2025). System is tested, commissioned, and officially energized. Net metering credits begin on your next Meralco bill.

What warranty does the solar system come with?

Solar panels carry a 25-year linear performance warranty guaranteeing at least 80 percent output at year 25. Inverters are typically warranted for 5 to 10 years with extended warranty options. The mounting system and workmanship are warranted by SolarPro Install. Full warranty documentation is provided at system handover.
